Life is Eternal. Our bodies are not.

We are each a portion of God’s Eternal Life/Spirit; preoccupied with our temporary Humanity.

On Earth we live in the womb of Eternity that is called "Time".

We enter "Time" when God’s continious and infinite Life/Spirit is breathed into our finite bodies from a limitless Heaven.

When the shroud of "Time" is shattered by the repeated assaults of our earthly environment and the necessity for our maturity and the purpose of our adornment here on Earth is threatened, God’s Life/Spirit , that lives within us, is conveyed again from our finite Humanity into the safety and reality of our eternal freedom in the vast remainder of Heaven.

As we pass through the birth canal that we call "Death", and into the rebirth of voluntary or interceded innocence, we leave behind all of the impurities and imperfections of our journey through "Time", as we take our place in the Crystal Sea that surrounds the Throne of God.

"To me, a lot of our corporate acts of religious expression seem much like the chaotic dissonance produced by a symphony orchestra just prior to a performance.

It sounds as though the direction, discipline, and interpretation of it’s Maestro has been completely ignored; each member playing a different score and tempo on untuned instruments.

Scripture has been translated into many languages, but it’s meaning and intelligence remains with the interpretation of God, our Composer and Maestro.

Literacy is not prerequisite to the personal revelation of, or communion with, our Composer, i.e., our Creator.

The reading or hearing of scripture and it’s exposition, without personally asking our Creator to reveal the meaning and intelligence of His language, is simply an exercise fraught with the limitations of our own understanding and experiences, hence, our discord, misunderstanding, and barrenness.

The Spirit of Truth that is within us, is the magnet that draws us to the completeness of God’s exegesis.

The existence and revelation of this permanent and unchangeable Gift of Truth is not determined, altered, or impaired by doctrine, theory, or belief.

As we are guided into the perfection of All Truth, we discover that Truth does not have to be believed to make it valid. It needs no defense, argument, or proof.

When we give birth to God’s Light, the dark and incomplete distortion of error cannot exist.

We have not genuinely been freed from our disbelief until we are, by God, so convinced of Truth’s reality, that we no longer are compelled to prove it.

God summons us in our own language but instructs and conducts us in His.

Many are called, but few have chosen to seek and yield to His understanding. Unfortunately, we prefer our own.

Most of our theologies, whether borrowed or experienced, have been received from and taught by man.

They are mirror images of our "Selfology of Inferiority" (i.e. Doctrine that causes us to see ourselves dimly in the darkness that surrounds us, instead of by the Radiant Light that is eager to shine forth from within us.) and, as such, can suffer some necessary tuning now and then.

With His baton in hand, our Lord is ready to set the key and replace the old perceptions with a new encounter, if we are willing to release Him from the well guarded confines of our own understanding and interpretation.

A renewed mind, filled with His compassion, will transform our attitude, behavior, and purpose while synchronizing us all to the standard of pitch necessary for a flawless performance."

The "EGOTHORITY" of Religion

Self styled and Self acclaimed “Believers”, have divided humanity into two parts.

Name them what you will; “Saved versus Unsaved”; “your Faith versus Heathen”;
“Believers versus Unbelievers”; “Christian” versus “Non-Christian”.

It comes as no surprise to discover that we all appear as “Unsaved”, “Non-Christian”, “Heathen”, “Unbelievers”.

The fact that we insist upon and practice division, instead of unity, is a
dead giveaway.

Because of ulterior motives, the rigor mortis of tradition, and custom
made doctrines, our fragile faiths are easily offended.

The offenses we hold on to or distribute, separate us from God, divides our families, and ignites a spirit of war and contention within us. This division allows a violent darkness to persist.

It is no wonder that our religions with their “other gods of egothority” as founding fathers and/or proponents, make so little difference in our attitudes and behavior.

At long last we are beginning to see JESUS as we experience the demise of the external religions that have become our nemesis.

Jesus taught his disciples saying:
"Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
Behold, I send you out as Sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be WISE as serpents and HARMLESS as doves."

Paul tells us in Acts 20:
"Therefore take heed to yourselves and to ALL the flock, which He redeemed with His own blood., among which the Holy Spirit has made you protective watchmen in the house of the AMNESTY of God
For I know this, that after my departure, savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves."

In Ezekiel 22 we read:
"The princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, to shed blood, to destroy people, and to get dishonest gain."

On Carrying the Sword

Peter Walpot (1521-1578) was a cloth shearer from Tirol. As an 8-year-old, he watched the Anabaptist heretic Georg Blaurock burned alive at the stake. Later Walpot joined the Anabaptists, eventually becoming the elder and leader of the Hutterites from 1565-1578, a time considered the "golden period" of Hutterian history. Over 400 years later, his words still ring true as our leaders once again invoke religion as they go to war.

False Christians boast of their love for their neighbor, saying: “Should I not come to the rescue of my neighbor who is attacked and threatened with death if I can prevent it? Everyone is obliged to do that. God has commanded it; for what I would like done for me, I should also do for others.”

This kind of bodily aid is what Peter wanted to give the Lord. But Christ healed the man whom Peter struck and injured. Jesus strongly rejected any help or love by which others may be harmed or hated. He still does so today. We are to love and not hate our worst enemies, even if they injure us collectively and individually. “If one member suffers, all suffer with it,” says Paul.

From Christ’s love comes forbearance and love, which does not injure anyone out of love for another. If we acted otherwise we would break with love for our enemies and miss the way of Christ. The result would be an outward alliance of mutual help as practised in the world: If you help me, I will help you. But wherever true Christians can come to the aid of others in distress, be they friend or foe, it must be done without injury to anyone. True Christian love injures neither friend nor foe.

People also say: “It cannot be proved by any passage of Scripture that we should not carry a sword.” However it is made abundantly clear in many ways in the Scripture that revenge, war, anger and force are forbidden. If they are forbidden, then the arms used for them are also forbidden. For if you are called to stop keeping hogs in order to become a town councillor, you must also give up the cudgel or stick used for the hogs.

You want to be a Christian, yet hypocritically carry a weapon, so that others cannot tell you are a Christian. You want to be a disciple of Christ, yet still conform to the world. Such two-faced, double-minded hypocrites are like mules (neither horse nor real donkey) as they still want to please the world and men. They are not servants of Christ but servants of the world to which they want to conform.

They are quick to accuse us, as the Jews did Christ and his followers: “They want to oppose the emperor – to forbid paying taxes. They want to be disobedient, to have no government. They want to be lords and appoint a king for themselves.” They accuse Christ and his followers of the unbounded animosity of their own hearts. Yet Christ and his followers are innocent: they lay aside the sword and ruling power and are as sheep for the slaughter.

But let one of the children of the world – the supposed Christians who want to keep the sword – come to the forefront, then see whether they do not quarrel about earthly rulership and seek to get it with their mercenaries. Each wants to rule in order that no one may lord it over him.

As for us, we simply remain servants like our master, Christ, who did not come to be served. We need not worry about ruling power. There are enough rulers to be found. Only let us see to it that we remain Christians, that we endure, and win the victory of the Lamb to the glory of the Father and Christ. Christ showed that his kingdom was not of this world. He fled when the people wanted to make him king. He refused to judge about dividing an inheritance. He refused to pass sentence of death on the woman caught in adultery. Ever believer in whom Christ lives still does not do such things.

Christ commands that his followers proclaim the forgiveness of sins in his name to all people. In the Christian confession of faith we say: “one holy Christian Church, in which is forgiveness of sins.” All this would be futile, yes, the preaching of repentance would be useless, if we Christians were to pass a death sentence, because sinners would then be deprived of this grace. Therefore Christians have nothing to do with passing judgment on a man’s life or limb. If it is our duty to forgive sinners their sins and transgressions for the sake of Jesus Christ, how can we condemn sinners to death? Christ’s words to Peter – to forgive his brother seventy times seven would also be futile.

If we were to keep the law of Moses to the letter, we could not forgive any offender. We would have to pronounce the verdict of the law upon the sinner as soon as the sin was revealed.

The world has its law. The Jews in the time of Moses had their special system of laws over life and limb, far different from the world’s system. In the same way Christians have their special law and order given by Christ, which is not like the Jewish law. For the kingdom of Christ is not physical but spiritual. It is a kingdom of peace where there is no strife, no lawsuits, and no use of the sword.

So we are not to confuse the sword of the world or the sword of Moses with the sword of Christ. That is just like saying black treacle and peas are one and the same thing. O, what blindness and confusion.

I used to think that my times of ‘spiritual’ inactivity and drought were brought about by an elusive something that I did or did not do.

I felt guilty when I was not on a ‘spiritual’ high, "on fire for the Lord", and constantly gorging myself on artificial God things to the point of gluttony. Anything less was "backsliding." The religious blahs devoid of feeling, desire, and excitement were unacceptable. I had work to do for the Lord.

But I discovered, instead, that He had a work to do in me. My manufactured worship had eclipsed the silence and rest that God had planned for me at a time when I was most teachable.

Selah, i.e., Stop! think on these things; let yourself grow; let God show and teach you His meaning.

When I have finished a meal at my Father’s table, it is normal that I not feel desire and hunger.

It is now time for me to digest what Father has provided for me.

I call this "my Selah Zone". This is where the taste of my belief is absorbed as the nourishment of confidence when I remember, meditate, and understand that which is now becoming a part of me.

A respite is essential for my ignorance to become insight and my relationship to mature into bonding.

When the current session in "my Selah Zone" is finished, I will again receive what is necessary for me, when it is time for another feast.

Then, back to the finishing process in "my Selah Zone".

To want more than my Father provides for me in His time and for His purpose is foolish greed.

He is the consummate Chef. His timing and work is perfect.

At last, the ultimate guilt free diet !

This was written by an 8-year old named Danny Dutton, who lives in Chula Vista, CA. He wrote it for his third grade homework assignment. The assignment was to explain God.

THE EXPLANATION OF GOD

"One of God's main jobs is making people. He makes them to replace the ones that die, so there will be enough people to take care of things on earth. He doesn't make grownups, just babies. I think because they are smaller and easier to make. That way he doesn't have to take up his valuable time teaching them to talk and walk. He can just leave that to mothers and fathers."

"God's second most important job is listening to prayers. An awful lot of this goes on, since some people, like preachers and things, pray at times beside bedtime. God doesn't have time to listen to the radio or TV because of this. Because he hears everything, there must be a terrible lot of noise in his ears, unless he has thought of a way to turn it off."

"God sees everything and hears everything and is everywhere which keeps Him pretty busy. So you shouldn't go wasting his time by going over your mom and dad's head asking for something they said you couldn't have."

"Atheists are people who don't believe in God. I don't think there are any in Chula Vista. At least there aren't any who come to our church."

"Jesus is God's Son. He used to do all the hard work like walking on water and performing miracles and trying to teach the people who didn't want to learn about God. A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year olds. What does love mean? The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined.

1. When my grandma got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandpa does it for her now all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love. Rebecca- age 8

2. When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouths. Billy- age 4

3. Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on after shave and they go out and smell each other. Kari- age 5

4. Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs. Chrissy- age 6

5. Love is what makes you smile when you're tired. Terri- age 4

6. Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK. Danny- age 7

7. Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My mommy and my daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss. Emily- age 8

8. Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen. Bobby- age 7

9. If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate. Nikka- age 6

10. Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday. Noelle- age 7

11. Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well. Tommy- age 6

12. During my piano recital, I was on stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore. Cindy- age 8

13. My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night. Clare- age 6

14. Love is when mommy gives daddy the best piece of chicken. Elaine-age 5

15. Love is when mommy sees daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford. Chris- age 7

19. You really shouldn't say I LOVE YOU unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget. Jessica- age 8

20. And the winner was a 4 year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly man who had just lost his wife. When the child saw the man cry, the little boy went over into the man's yard and climbed on top of the man's lap and just sat there. When the boy's mother asked him what he'd said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry."

Being "Unoffendable"

PRAYER INITIATIVE

Dear Friends,

Just a word to the wise that, historically, there seems to be an increase of strife and division around this time of the year. For those in the American church, this added demonic activity may be the result of satanic Halloween rituals. It may also come from a number of other sources as well. Whatever the source, you will want to guard against conflict with others. Cover your families and churches with prayer and genuinely practice being "unoffendable."

I know we are all praying about many things, but I want to remind our American friends: during the election time there is a lot of slander and misinformation, which can cause us to react in the flesh. Remember, beloved, we are not fighting flesh and blood, but principalities and powers. Let's not allow the passion of our love to dim nor our peace crumble during this season. Instead, let us each take faith knowing God's promise, that the enemy who comes against us one way shall flee before us seven ways (see Deut 28:7).

"What is This Thing Called Sin ?"

Has my theologically encumbered religion missed the most subtle deceit that wreaks havoc with the spiritual, physical, psychological, and emotional world in which I live? What is missing, as I go to and fro upon the earth, in my acts of striving and my zeal to acquire and control?

Is it my inability to successfully defend my world against all that offends me? My reactions to that which offends me reveals my incomplete understanding of who I am and what my purpose is.

Conformity to this weakness proliferates the philosophy of sin. However, I can choose to be reconciled with God and discover the strength of Spirit necessary to overcome every opposing influence that causes my chronic habits of misuse and separation.

What is this thing called sin?

Sin is not just something I do. Sin is the absence of Love; the attitude of abuse. It is expressed in thought, word, and/or deed when I usurp, without right, that which does not belong to me.

Sin is impaired vision that causes an inaccurate aspiration or the independent opinion that makes everything I do, look right through the distortion in my own eyes and limited wisdom. It is the uncontrolled, and self reliant perspective that is self motivated by my own desire, belief, and purpose. It is the fantasy that I, as a finite being, can single handedly re-create and rule the world, in my own way and power from my self made pinnacle in the center of the Universe, no matter who it hurts. It is any diversion that intoxicates, obscures, and aborts the yearnings of my heart toward God.

I usually mistake the symptoms of sin for the cause of sin.

The sinful things I do, are symptoms of the self conscious and abusive attitude which insists that I live only by my own rules, as I attempt to fill my feelings of emptiness and fear with endless addictions to the perceptions of my physical senses.

The cause of Sin is a beguiled mind, i.e., delightfully deceived. My mind had been enticed and captivated by Satan, the Master Manipulator. I had been ensnared by his deliberate plan of abortion designed for God’s destruction and the end of God’s Life being reproduced in me. I had been led to believe that Life ( the Spirit) and its body belonged to me to live and do with as I pleased.

With this attitude I was blind to Eternal Life and unconscious of the fact that my Life/Spirit is evidenced in me by the breath that God has breathed into me for His purpose, not mine. Thus, I robed God of the Sacred Human Body and Life/Spirit that He has both created in me and holds title to.

How did I discover my freedom from the inebriation that obscures my kinship with God?

During my brief attempt at being an atheist, my misery prompted me to broadcast my search for the reality and location of God. I said, "God, if you exist, show me that you are real." To my amazement, I was immediately filled with the recognition that a portion of His Spirit lives deep within me.

That’s when the war began. My understanding versus God’s.

God is designed to live within me and I with Him. I am His interdependent counterpart on the earth. I am not here as a spectator or to be comfortable. I am here as an interactive partner with my Creator, to restore the Glory of His Presence to an earth who’s beauty and purpose had been destroyed by rebellion and was lying in waste without form and void.

When the Life/Spirit that I have received, is oriented precisely toward Him in the unity and cooperation of our mutual purpose and desire, God and I are reconciled. Then the maturing and united Life/Spirit within me is restored Holy, complete, clean, and good.

When a clouded mind aims the Life/Spirit in any other direction or allegiance, it misses the mark. The Spirit of God and Man are no longer aligned. The development of the Human Life/Spirit, apart from God, is then stunted and becomes unholy, incomplete, soiled, and evil; in need of both reconciliation and restoration.

I cannot sin and simultaneously have a maturing holy and contrite Spirit within me. My aim and purpose cannot be in two different directions at once.

How do I keep the attitude of the united Life/Spirit clean, clear, and on target? By always and in every circumstance, by choice, remembering that the Sacred Human Life/Spirit, with it’s body, soul and breath, comes from and belongs to God. Knowing that I, with Him, am a co-creator of the restoration and preservation of Peace on Earth.

God dramatized the birth of a Holy Spirit and its path to maturity, in the earthly life of Jesus, our Lord. Because of God’s unlimited free flowing Forgiveness and Love, we share daily, in that process.

We now live in the womb of Eternity that is called "Time". We enter "Time" when God’s infinite Life is breathed into our finite bodies from a limitless Heaven.

When the shroud of "Time" shatters the necessity for our maturity and the purpose of our adornment here on Earth, God’s Life, that lives within us, is conveyed again from our finite Humanity to the reality of our eternal freedom in the vast remainder of Heaven.

By passing through the birth canal that we call "Death", and into the rebirth of voluntary or interceded innocence, we leave behind all of the impurities and imperfections of a life in "Time", as we take our place in the Crystal Sea that surrounds the Throne of God.

Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq, known by the Bible names of Arabia, Babylon, Land of Shinar, Mesopotamia, Chaldea and others.

The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep roots. Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible. Here are some references that show us why.

"A Little Child"

Unless you become as a little child, you cannot see God’s Kingdom.

Though I speak all the philosophies of men with the eloquence and understanding of angels, but have not LOVE, I have become nothing more than a harsh brazen sound.

And even if I could see all things, and comprehend all that is hidden, and had all knowledge, and even if I had faith enough to move mountains, but I am unwilling to LOVE, I have no purpose.

And though I give, one morsel at a time, of what I have to feed the hungry, and though I sacrifice my energy for others, but have not LOVE, the growth and development, of God’s spirit within me, is halted.

LOVE knows how to handle an offence and is always kind; LOVE is not possessive, has no conditions, does not have to be paid back, does not buy or sell. LOVE is not self conscious, does not behave rudely, is not selfish or provoked, is blind to evil, does not revel in a superiority complex, but rejoices in the truth that we all are the life and body of God.

LOVE increases the worth of everyone. It has no hidden agenda. Love believes in everyone, never gives up hope, is steadfast for everyone.

LOVE NEVER FAILS TO BE GOD CONSCIOUS.

But things that we think we see and understand, will fail. All kinds of theologies, theories, and definitions will cease. Knowledge will be made useless.

For what we know and see, in our immaturity, is incomplete, but when LOVE that is perfect is here, then that which is incomplete becomes a part of that which is perfect.

When I was a child, I spoke as an innocent and affectionate child. I understood as a pure, spontaneous, and trusting child. I reasoned justly and played with joy as a carefree and creative child.

But when I became a man, I lost the innocence and purity of my unbiased childhood. For now, as a man, my vision is distorted. I cannot see who I really am. But when I was a child I intuitively knew that I was the character and likeness of God.

Now, as a man, I have become self conscious. But when I voluntarily return to my God conscious, childish innocence, I shall fully recognize and understand my Father as He does me.

As a result of that return, there abides FAITH, demonstrated by trust; CONFIDENCE, experienced by peace; LOVE, evidenced by compassionate intercession and restoration; but the conformation of our maturity and completeness is LOVE.

The War Prayer

It was a time of great and exalting excitement. The country was up in arms, the war was on, in every breast burned the holy fire of patriotism; the drums were beating, the bands playing, the toy pistols popping, the bunched firecrackers hissing and spluttering; on every hand and far down the receding and fading spread of roofs and balconies a fluttering wilderness of flags flashed in the sun; daily the young volunteers marched down the wide avenue gay and fine in their new uniforms, the proud fathers and mothers and sisters and sweethearts cheering them with voices choked with happy emotion as they swung by; nightly the packed mass meetings listened, panting, to patriot oratory which stirred the deepest deeps of their hearts, and which they interrupted at briefest intervals with cyclones of applause, the tears running down their cheeks the while; in the churches the pastors preached devotion to flag and country, and invoked the God of Battles beseeching His aid in our good cause in outpourings of fervid eloquence which moved every listener. It was indeed a glad and gracious time, and the half dozen rash spirits that ventured to disapprove of the war and cast a doubt upon its righteousness straightway got such a stern and angry warning that for their personal safety's sake they quickly shrank out of sight and offended no more in that way.

Sunday morning came -- next day the battalions would leave for the front; the church was filled; the volunteers were there, their young faces alight with martial dreams -- visions of the stern advance, the gathering momentum, the rushing charge, the flashing sabers, the flight of the foe, the tumult, the enveloping smoke, the fierce pursuit, the surrender! Then home from the war, bronzed heroes, welcomed, adored, submerged in golden seas of glory! With the volunteers sat their dear ones, proud, happy, and envied by the neighbors and friends who had no sons and brothers to send forth to the field of honor, there to win for the flag, or, failing, die the noblest of noble deaths. The service proceeded; a war chapter from the Old Testament was read; the first prayer was said; it was followed by an organ burst that shook the building, and with one impulse the house rose, with glowing eyes and beating hearts, and poured out that tremendous invocation

God the all-terrible! Thou who ordainest! Thunder thy clarion and lightning thy sword!

Then came the "long" prayer. None could remember the like of it for passionate pleading and moving and beautiful language. The burden of its supplication was, that an ever-merciful and benignant Father of us all would watch over our noble young soldiers, and aid, comfort, and encourage them in their patriotic work; bless them, shield them in the day of battle and the hour of peril, bear them in His mighty hand, make them strong and confident, invincible in the bloody onset; help them to crush the foe, grant to them and to their flag and country imperishable honor and glory --

An aged stranger entered and moved with slow and noiseless step up the main aisle, his eyes fixed upon the minister, his long body clothed in a robe that reached to his feet, his head bare, his white hair descending in a frothy cataract to his shoulders, his seamy face unnaturally pale, pale even to ghastliness. With all eyes following him and wondering, he made his silent way; without pausing, he ascended to the preacher's side and stood there waiting. With shut lids the preacher, unconscious of his presence, continued with his moving prayer, and at last finished it with the words, uttered in fervent appeal, "Bless our arms, grant us the victory, O Lord our God, Father and Protector of our land and flag!"

The stranger touched his arm, motioned him to step aside -- which the startled minister did -- and took his place. During some moments he surveyed the spellbound audience with solemn eyes, in which burned an uncanny light; then in a deep voice he said:

"I come from the Throne -- bearing a message from Almighty God!" The words smote the house with a shock; if the stranger perceived it he gave no attention. "He has heard the prayer of His servant your shepherd, and will grant it if such shall be your desire after I, His messenger, shall have explained to you its import -- that is to say, its full import. For it is like unto many of the prayers of men, in that it asks for more than he who utters it is aware of -- except he pause and think.

"God's servant and yours has prayed his prayer. Has he paused and taken thought? Is it one prayer? No, it is two -- one uttered, the other not. Both have reached the ear of Him Who heareth all supplications, the spoken and the unspoken. Ponder this -- keep it in mind. If you would beseech a blessing upon yourself, beware! lest without intent you invoke a curse upon a neighbor at the same time. If you pray for the blessing of rain upon your crop which needs it, by that act you are possibly praying for a curse upon some neighbor's crop which may not need rain and can be injured by it.

"You have heard your servant's prayer -- the uttered part of it. I am commissioned of God to put into words the other part of it -- that part which the pastor -- and also you in your hearts -- fervently prayed silently. And ignorantly and unthinkingly? God grant that it was so! You heard these words: 'Grant us the victory, O Lord our God!' That is sufficient. the whole of the uttered prayer is compact into those pregnant words. Elaborations were not necessary. When you have prayed for victory you have prayed for many unmentioned results which follow victory -- must follow it, cannot help but follow it. Upon the listening spirit of God fell also the unspoken part of the prayer. He commandeth me to put it into words. Listen!

"O Lord our Father, our young patriots, idols of our hearts, go forth to battle -- be Thou near them! With them -- in spirit -- we also go forth from the sweet peace of our beloved fire sides to smite the foe. O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it -- for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

[After a pause. ] "Ye have prayed it; if ye still desire it, speak! -- The messenger of the Most High waits!"

The Mysterious Stranger

These institutions will always remain, and always flourish, and always oppress you, affront you, and degrade you, because you will always be and remain slaves of minorities. There was never a country where the majority of the people were in their secret hearts loyal to any of these institutions."
I did not like to hear our race called sheep, and said I did not think they were.

"Still, it is true, lamb," said Satan. "Look at you in war -- what mutton you are, and how ridiculous!"

"In war? How?"

"There has never been a just one, never an honorable one -- on the part of the instigator of the war. I can see a million years ahead, and this rule will never change in so many as half a dozen instances. The loud little handful -- as usual -- will shout for the war. The pulpit will -- warily and cautiously -- object -- at first; the great, big, dull bulk of the nation will rub its sleepy eyes and try to make out why there should be a war, and will say, earnestly and indignantly, "It is unjust and dishonorable, and there is no necessity for it." Then the handful will shout louder. A few fair men on the other side will argue and reason against the war with speech and pen, and at first will have a hearing and be applauded; but it will not last long; those others will outshout them, and presently the anti-war audiences will thin out and lose popularity. Before long you will see this curious thing: the speakers stoned from the platform, and free speech strangled by hordes of furious men who in their secret hearts are still at one with those stoned speakers -- as earlier -- but do not dare to say so. And now the whole nation -- pulpit and all -- will take up the war-cry, and shout itself hoarse, and mob any honest man who ventures to open his mouth; and presently such mouths will cease to open. Next the statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception."

"The Alternative to War" Part 4

We dare not summons God to facilitate our purpose. For in doing so, we work against Him, rather than with Him, for His purpose.

God does not have "a plan for my life." The Plan, the Purpose, and the Life are all His. It is for this we have been born and to this we conform. (John 14, Romans 8)

When we pray, "Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.", may we have the selfless courage to mean, "Father, give us this day, that which is necessary for you to accomplish your work and purpose in us, so that we may display and distribute the power of your light in the earth. We place before you the offenses and suffering that we have caused, just as we place before you those whom we have made to be an offense against us." (Matt. 6:11-12)

Jesus, while in His Human body, did not allow Himself to be governed by physical senses or offense. He chose to live in the communion of Spirit, as He laid down His Life to His Father’s purpose, long before He was nailed to a cross, or felt the scourge of a Roman whip. Thus, He could knit together His offenders to His Father when He cried out, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do."

He was not governed by His physical senses:
when He said to His Father, "Not My will, but Thine be done,"
when He sweat drops of blood in the garden,
as He wept, with compassion, over Jerusalem,.
in His healing encounters with people,
when He was led by His Spirit, into the wilderness, for forty days,
when He cast out demons,
when He restored Life.

He did not allow Himself to be governed by His physical senses while blood was still coursing through His veins. It is the power of His Holy Spirit, in His "Living Blood", that lets us see our archetype; the original pattern; our perfect example; of a sinless "Living Sacrifice"; a Father who loves His children and is a ransom for them all.

CAN WE CHOOSE TO LIVE A SIN FREE LIFE AND BECOME A LIVING SACRIFICE ?

YES ! ! ! (Romans, chapters 5-8) Awake to righteousness, and do not sin. (1 Cor. 15:34)

We cannot sin and simultaneously have a maturing holy and contrite Spirit within us.

Our aim and purpose cannot be in two different directions at once.

Compassionate intercession is a condition of the Spirit and Soul as evidenced in the Body. It is the crowning glory of a living sacrifice.

SATAN: THE COSMIC GODFATHER; OUR ADVERSARY; THE INVENTOR OF SIN; SHALL NOT REIGN IN OUR MORTAL BODIES ! ! !
This is our solemn resolve.

We, having been reconciled, shall be saved from embellishing, i.e., whitewashing, the sin that governs our physical senses as we choose to shape our worth to Life in Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:10)
Till we ALL come to the unity of the faith;
to the knowledge of the Son of God;
to a perfect man;
to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
that we should no longer be children governed by our physical senses, but speaking the truth in Love, may grow up in all things, looking and acting just like our Father - Christ. (Eph. 4:13-15)

It is our responsibility to live, voluntarily, at this level of commitment and authority. This is where we can offer ourselves to God on His behalf so that He can demonstrate His Forgiveness and Love to others through us.

As Living Sacrifices, we can intercede, not only for those causing the offenses, but also on behalf of all those who are suffering from them. (Romans 12:1-2, I Peter 2:5) In this way, we can give birth to God’s power and illuminate the earth, as He gives wisdom to us and works through us, to ease suffering, bring healing, and establish PEACE.

"... the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who have a passion to make peace. (intercede)" James 3:17-18

"Blessed are the peacemakers, (intercessors) for they shall be called sons of God." Matt. 5:9

"I have set before you Life (Completeness and Responsibility), and Death (Incompleteness and Destruction); therefore CHOOSE LIFE, that both you and your children may live..." Deuteronomy 30:19

"... I want you to be wise as you exercise the skillful understanding of what is good in it’s completeness, and simple (harmless, without horns), concerning the incompleteness of evil. The God of Peace will swiftly crush your adversary and the opposing spirits that are beneath you. The Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen." Romans 16:19-20

"The Alternative to War" Part 3

You cannot forgive or love while you are holding on to the resentment and bitterness of an offense.

Forgiveness unites. Offenses divide.

His father forgave the prodical son. His elder brother was unwilling to do so. The father was able to love because he forgave his son. The elder brother could not love because he would not forgive.

As we have received Forgiveness and Love, so we can give when we hear the heart’s call to the sacrificial service of compassionate RESTORATION.

TO FORGIVE (nasa, apo-logos) means, "to give up all claim and desire to punish or exact penalty for an offense, to set free, lift up, to remove from danger and bondage, to present, to give, or place security before, to underwrite, to prevent foreclosure, to pay the debt or liability incurred by someone else when they are not able to, or are not willing to pay it themselves; releasing them of all obligation, restoring them to a position of never having owed, apologizing for them and speaking favorably of them in intercession. (The passion for making peace.) "

To Forgive is to RECONCILE an offense to the Father. It is the negotiation of peace. (Matt.6:12-15, John 20:21-23)

"We are only human," is the sightless and self-serving excuse for our weakness and failures. That "we are Human and Divine," is the enabling revelation that opens the unlimited opportunities for our healing so that we may become fit vessels for compassionate sacrificial service. (Psalm 24)

By default, it is natural for us to be more Human than Divine. By choice, we can make it natural to be more Divine than Human. Our Father is seeking those who worship (shape their worth to) Him. (John 4:23-24)

The common denominator that makes us all family is the Life/Spirit that lives within every human being. We are all created by, and belong to, the same Divine Source, (Gen. 1:27, Eph. 2, 3, & 4) but each day we are confronted with our own unique set of Human offenses. (Matt. 16:23) By choosing to let God orchestrate our offenses, rather than unilaterally reacting to them ourselves, we can prevent them from producing the degeneration of our collective Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Immune Systems. We can make of every offense, an opportunity for intercession. (The passion for making peace.) (Ephesians 2:14-18, Matt.5:43-48)

As an oyster transforms an irritating grain of sand into a Pearl of Great Price, so we can choose to create, of every irritation and offense, the VICTORY of a Pearl.

When we respond to the responsibilities generated by God’s Blessings, peace prevails, and we become clear channels through which God’s Light can envelop darkness as we choose to live without offense toward God and Man. (Matt. 5:14-16)

As Jesus exemplified, it is possible for us to refuse to be victims as we choose to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hurt us, and pray for those who spitefully use us and persecute us. (Luke 6:27-31)

LOVE, BLESS, DO GOOD TO, AND PRAY FOR THOSE WHO OFFEND US ?

YES ! THIS IS THE ALTERNATIVE TO WAR.

MATURE FORGIVENESS AND REDEMPTIVE LOVE: THIS IS THE ACTION OF COMPASSIONATE INTERCESSION; THE POWER OF RECONCILIATION AND THE ULTIMATE RESTORATION !

It is THE MEDIUM OF EXCHANGE THAT MAKES PEACE: (James 3:17-18) THE OMNIPOTENCE THAT LINKS MAN TO GOD;

NO WEAPONS OF ANY ENEMY CAN DEFEAT THE PURE OFFERING OF A HOLY SPIRIT THAT IS LIVING IN COMPASSIONATE INTERCESSION. (Isa. 2:1-4, Isa.54:16-17, II Cor. 10:3-6)

CHOOSE TO LOVE: REFUSE TO OFFEND - FORGIVE ALL OFFENCES

This is who we are. This is why our vessels must be kept clean. For we are workers together with our Father, RECONCILING and RESTORING the earth and ALL of its fullness to Himself.

The life of PERPETUAL INTERCESSION is our priestly calling. Prayer is born as a way of life, no longer just our "For Emergency Use Only" 911 calls or public announcements and party-line gossip.

A Living Fountain of Intercession provides an endless source of RANSOM and AMNESTY and is anxious for nothing. It is the presence of PEACE that elevates both the offender and the offended out of tribulation and before the Seat of Mercy in communion with JESUS, OUR EVERLASTING FATHER, OUR PRINCE OF PEACE.

Since we are continually targeted by our adversary and with the recent acts of terrorism burned indelibly on our minds and in our hearts, let us determine to overcome every offense, threat, and fear by choosing to live above the part of creation that survives only by independent, instinctive, sensory reaction.

I say again, "We can choose to be interactive with our Father and bring light into our world, or we will react unilaterally without Him, as we stumble around blindly in darkness and chaos.

We need not waste our life fighting darkness or fearing evil, if we would only turn on the light." With the Light on, we discover that the blindness of darkness is absorbed by the Light and that which is unfinished by evil is finished/completed by the Good.

"The Alternative to War" Part 2

Allowing myself to be overcome by an offense, separates me from both God and Man.

Now I am powerless.

Immediately, Peace evaporates as I become self conscious and strangled by fear. Suddenly, I find myself in a war with my offender that I cannot win, as I try, to no avail, to hide long forgotten hurts, hoping that no one will notice.

I handled my offenses much like the boy on the "Toasted Strudel" commercial. Each morning his mother would give him a "Pop Tart" to eat at school. Preferring the "Toasted Strudels" that his friend would bring him, he would stash the offensive "Pop Tarts" in his locker until the daily deposit of "Pop Tarts" exceeded the locker’s capacity. With the avalanche that followed, the boy’s offenses were revealed.

Schooled in the practice of religious isolationism with it’s abusive guilt and condemnation, I became the product of denominational prejudice and arrogant theology as expressed through a doctrine of inferiority.

As a "Christian" with a neurotic conscience skewed by double standards and hypocritical tradition, I was being held hostage by generations of unresolved, well worn, and respectable offenses. I studied my Bible, I attempted prayer, but no amount of doctrine, knowledge, or religious practice could free me from this bondage.

As I allowed the Divine Light of Jesus Christ, my Creator and Everlasting Father, to shine into the dark corners of my soul, the beams of forgiveness exposed each offense and destroyed the lies that had paralyzed my Life/Spirit. My healing had begun. My own personal encounter theology was born.

We, who presume ourselves to be "religious," have seldom discovered the origin, meaning, or mastery of offenses. Therefore, we have not been able to take the fullness of Forgiveness to its ultimate purpose of redemptive Love.

Jesus said that "offenses must come." (Matt.18:7) What we do with them reveals the condition of our physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

Offenses can be the enticement to rebellion, or the caution signals that are shown to us by the sentinel of our Spirit senses, so that we can learn Divine Interdependence as we practice the unified discipline of choosing self and spirit control (holiness), thus, avoiding the discord that so often causes the portraying of "Arrogance" and "Spiritual" as synonymous. ( I’m saved, but everyone else is suspect.)

The intrusions of offenses expose the opportunities that remind us that we are more than the sum total of our senses; more than a slave to our reactionary emotions. We can become congruous with our Creator and the whole of the Human Race, if we do not allow these fiery darts to penetrate our spirit. (Eph.6:10-18)

Though we live in a "dog eat dog" world, we do not have to act like wild dogs. We are different from the animals. The difference ? We have the power to choose, to become God conscious, and to communicate with Him as our Father.

With this power, when offenses come, we can recognize our adversary and choose our options. If we think that we have no choice, think again. We are co-creators with our Father. We are not only here to change an outcome, but we are here to bring our offender before God, in intercession, i.e., knitting the offender to the Father. (II Cor. 10:3-6)

We overcome offenses and maintain spiritual fitness by choosing the spirit exercise of forgiveness.

The Power and Glory of forgiveness will destroy evil and eliminate darkness. "Behold ! The Lamb, i.e., Amnesty, of God who removes the offenses of the whole world." (John 1:29)

We can learn to absorb evil without passing it on. We can stop the generational recycling of darkness.

Remember the boy who repeatedly threw the baseball into the air and swung at it with his bat? Each time He exclaimed, "I am the greatest home run hitter in the world !" After missing the ball with every swing, refusing to accept defeat, he paused. Realizing that he was more than a batter, as the light dawned, he said in awe, "Man ! What a pitcher!!"

As I stood beside the bed visiting my dear friend, Jim. I asked him how he was doing. I really didn’t want to know how he felt because his body was riddled with cancer and he was near death, but I could not think of anything else to say. His large hand gripped mine as he said, with the twinkle still in his eye, "My body is causing me some inconvenience now, but I am fine, in fact I have never been better." Man !! What a pitcher !!!

Jim knows that we are the Divine Spirit clothed in Humanity, the Infinite Seed cloistered in the Finite. As he did throughout his life, so he illuminated even his darkest hours with God’s energy. (John 4:23-24)

With each offense, the egocentric dimension of our humanity is challenged. We can choose to live in harmony and be constructive as we keep our spirit holy united with our Divine Source, or, by default, as we stand blindly alone, our fears and feelings will react and cause our spirit to destroy.

Fear is the angry face of offense, the ever-present temptation that so easily besets us. To choose between allowing ourselves to be governed by our physical senses, or to shape our worth and trust to the leading holy Spirit of Jesus, is our cross to embrace or reject. (Matthew 16:24)

God instructed Moses to cast his rod on the ground. When he did, it became a serpent; a terrifying offense. God then said, "pick it up by the tail." This was not good advice, for it compounded the offense and would put Moses in a most vulnerable position. Rather than be intimidated by fear, he chose to trust God with this offense and go beyond the fear. He picked up the serpent by the tail and it became a rod again. By learning how to respond to offenses, Moses went on to lead the Children of Israel out of the bondage of Egypt. (Exod.4:2-5)

We are born into an environment that is governed by the physical senses and is hostile to the administration of God’s Holy Life/Spirit.

Do we have eyes to recognize just who our enemy really is?

Eliminating my opponent does not kill what offends me. The Master of Deception can only afflict me through the senses of my body. He relies on me to paralyze my Spirit by believing the fear driven lies and curses that he has engendered. There by, rendering as unholy, God’s Life/Spirit that is within me as I continue to clone my enemies with prejudice, fear, hostility, and bitterness while clinging tenaciously to my biased superstitions, perceptions, and hoarded offences. But, "God has prepared a table before me, in the presence of these enemies."

Our defensive weapons are carnal and our warfare is futile, if we do not first cast off, i.e., forgive, to God the chains and bondage of the offense and the responsibility for its outcome. By our choosing to reject the fear presented by the offense, and by offering both the offender, and ourselves to God, on behalf of His purpose, we can be free to turn the other cheek, (Luke 6:29) and become the Divine Catalyst to the protective, healing work of God, as His Purveyor of Forgiveness and Love.

Oh, that we were as eager to feast, with our Father, on the fruit of the "Tree of Life," instead of trying to satisfy our insatiable appetite for toxic delicacies from the "Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil." For in the day that we eat of it, with our propensity for independence and our insistence that "it is my way or the highway," we shall surely be governed by our physical senses which lead to death.

WAR; the escalation of strife, division, isolation, and intolerance, is the ultimate proof of our spiritual immaturity and our susceptibility to deceit. It is the absence of Peace, Forgiveness, Compassion, and Love as God loves us. It is both the evidence of our unabashed ego, and of our need to discover the harmony of our Divine Heritage and to experience an expertly tuned Life with our Living Creator.

"My world is the table that You have prepared before me in the presence of my enemies." Ps. 23

"What causes fights and quarrels among us? Don’t they come from our selfish desires that battle within us?" James 4:1

Subtly and without shame, there stands the Cosmic Godfather, the Inventor of Sin, with his demons of division, lurking behind the beginning symptoms of everything that causes strife and separates the fellowship of mankind; every fear, every superstition, every lie, every hurt, every argument, every sickness, every divorce, every church split, every conflict, every prejudice, every adversity, every addiction, every grudge, and every war.

The goal of our adversary is to abort God’s purpose of restoring Peace and Light to a rebellious and darkened world and to separate His children from their Father.

This enemy gladly enables our quest for independence, knowledge, and power in exchange for our soul. We are lead to believe that Life belongs to us and we can use it for whatever purpose we please, without consequence.

To offend is the default mode of uncontrolled physical senses; the absence of the wholeness of self and Spirit control.

It means to abuse, steal, hit, hurt, hate, humiliate, demean, thrust, sting, cause to stumble, or strike against by intention, temptation, reaction, or accident.

The severity of an offense, either given or taken, is proportionate to the degree of one’s own spiritual unawareness and human intolerance.

When I am slapped on the right cheek, can I, with compassion, turn the other also (Matt. 5:39) without being compelled to "fight," "prove," "defend," "get even," "pay back," or "seek revenge"? Or do I belittle myself by the immaturity of returning the offense with malice and striking back in anger? Must I, as a helpless victim, argue my case, cower in fear, or writhe in guilt and self - pity ?

What’s this all about anyway ? Is there more to life than charging through it like a self-centered whirlwind, wreaking havoc with every relationship and feasting on the residue of resentment ? Do I wear the name of my brand of religion as just a fashion label ? Do I use my beliefs as a license to harbor an offense? Thus, revealing the evidence that a beam of bitterness and resentment is in my own eye. Can I ever experience inner healing and make a positive difference in my world ?

As a self acclaimed "Christian," I had divided the world into two parts; "Christian" and "Non-Christian." It came as a disturbing surprise to discover that I appeared as a religiously challenged, "Non-Christian." The fact that I had insisted upon and practiced division, instead of unity, was a dead giveaway.

Because of my ulterior motives (to remake the world to fit my own expectations) and doctrines that were nothing more than Augustinian hand-me-downs (Christian by osmosis), my fragile faith was easily offended. I saw that the offenses I take or give cause division and division allows darkness to persist.

These offenses disconnect me from the power that is necessary to eliminate fear and to bring light into my world. They also cause me to look, in judgement, at the unconscious wounded, as I pass by on the other side, without offering myself to God, as the medium of exchange for their wholeness. (Luke 10:30-36)

Hell can only exist in a heart devoid of compassion. When we blindly restrict and sacrifice our fellowship with God, and others, including our children, in order to save ourselves, our ideals, our doctrines, and our selfish ambitions, we cause this mutation of the soul. (Matt. 5:22, Lev. 18:21)

These realizations caused me to become more than just a "Sunday Morning Christian."

Forgiveness and Love

In matters of Forgiveness and Love, we must all be tutored by God Himself, lest our attempts to teach be diluted by the predispositions and intolerance of our legalistic ego and personal bias.

No written definition can express the power and magnitude of Forgiveness and Love. But the heart, as a holy spirit, is big enough to experience and be its living interpretation.

As we have received Forgiveness and Love, so we can give when we hear the heart’s call to the sacrificial service of compassionate RESTORATION.

TO FORGIVE (nasa, apo-logos) means, "to give up all claim and desire to punish or exact penalty for an offense, to set free, lift up, to remove from danger and bondage, to present, to give, or place security before, to underwrite, to prevent foreclosure, to pay the debt or liability incurred by someone else when they are not able to, or are not willing to pay it themselves; releasing them of all obligation, restoring them to a position of never having owed, apologizing for them and speaking favorably of them in intercession. (The passion for making peace.) " To Forgive is to RECONCILE an offense to the Father. It is the negotiation of peace. (Matt.6:12-15, John 20:21-23)

TO LOVE (agapao) is "to lay aside all personal interests and maintain a Holy Life/Spirit by choosing not to be governed by the bias of our physical senses, as we offer ourselves cheerfully and voluntarily to God as the underwriter of, or the substitute price for, another’s redemption, reconciliation, and restoration, while recognizing and defending with compassion, the divine origin of their true identity and worth." (John 15:9-17, Matt. 5:43- 48, Mark 10:45) It is LOVE that calls forth the divine dynamics of unconditional restoration, and it’s compassion of oneness, through the knitting together of intercession. To Love (agapao) is to RESTORE / REPAIR the unity of the Family. It is the RANSOM for peace.

"Human and Divine" Part 7

When we, by choice, begin to truly believe that we are each an equal part of the Life, Love, and Body of God, and that we are also built to forgive ("to think like, and act with, God"), then, and only then, how we think and what we do, will begin to demonstrate Trust, Kindness, and Compassion to the world. Renewed Life will be evident as we intercede as voluntary participants in the redemption and the illumination of God’s children and His planet.

God sees each of us as the person that we have been designed to be, not who we have been told we are, or as victims, have allowed ourselves to become. The German poet, Goethe, said, "Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and you help them to become what they are capable of being." This is the hallmark of our True Teacher. Any paradigm less than this, erodes our innocence and creativity, causing us to see ourselves as inferior and creates a spawning ground for evil.

Yes, we can reclaim our lost Heritage. Even after we may have suffered abuse or so flagrantly usurped, disfigured, and misused God’s Divine Life, and taken our Family Name in vain, we can, as good stewards, invest His Life in His purpose and He will lift it from the stagnation of inferiority and make it new again. The cost of all necessary restoration has been prepaid.

The Lord of the Harvest has sown only Good Seed.

Some of us, as Good Seed, may have fallen onto the hard earth of the wayside and been beaten down, robbed, or devoured by the offenses of predators. Or, others may have landed in stony places, and suffered injury, loss of consciousness or become disoriented and starved for lack of nourishment at the hands of our adversary.

Many may be choking upon the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches and are too busy to mature and bare fruit suitable for sacrifice.

Still others have fallen on good ground. They understand the afflictions caused by our nemesis and embrace them as opportunities for the revelation of God’s purpose. An abundant crop of Forgiveness has already been produced. The curative Light of unending Love is forever shining into the darkness of blinded eyes as the ointment of Compassion restores their sight. These Seeds, as Good Samaritans, are the Living Sacrifices that intercede for, and bring Forgiveness to, ALL who have fallen into dysfunction. Their offerings provide more than enough Light for the healing of ALL nations. Matthew 13

Could it be that, as you have read this, your emotions and logic have been disturbed and the comfort of your belief system has been challenged? Fear not, for you can commit it all to God and He will return to you only what is True and Good and necessary for your journey.

"Our Father, Thank you for the opportunity to represent you here on Earth, while we are being conformed to Your Image and Likeness.

In spite of all that we have done and all that we have believed to the contrary, we are still your children. Hasten the day when our eyes are opened, and we truly shape our worth to You. Only then can we clearly see Eternal Life as we treat each other with the dignity of our Divine Heritage.

Only then will there be no more night, as the time of restoration is complete and the Earth is once again Your Kingdom, powered by Your purpose, and fully illuminated by Your resplendent glory.

So be it, forever."

"Human and Divine" Part 6

The next time you experience loneliness, suffering, or guilt and are tempted to give up, feel worthless, or unloved, think about this fact: Whether or not we know them, each of us has two (2) parents; each parent has parents = four (4) grandparents; each grandparent has parents = eight (8) great-grandparent; etc., etc. Continue to multiply each generation times two. Add together the totals of each generation and you will discover that in the last 25 "generation ripples" of eternity that are called Time, God has invested His infinite energy into 67,108,862 of your ancestors just to create YOU !

Now, you’re here and You can choose to stop the madness of sin. We are not totally depraved and basically bad. SIN IS NOT INBRED. IT IS TRANSPLANTED. It’s bad seeds are not perennial. They must be transplanted from one generation to the next by believing the deception that our adversary has placed before us in every age since Adam.

It begins like this. "You can replace God as the center of the Universe. God has no authority over you. It is your life. You can do with it as you please. He is not related to you and can only be appeased by your sufferings. They are all His fault. You do not have to depend on Him. You can do it for yourself because you see and understand things just like He does." Gen. 3

With each generation, indeed, with each breath, you can be conscious that you are a Child of God. As God is Good (Complete), so are we, with Him. You cannot deny the fact that you are breathing the Breath of Life. You cannot disown the corporate Origin of that Life. As a living being, you are the continuous proof that your Father exists, no matter what you believe to the contrary.

"You shall not take the Family Name of the Lord your God in vain." (i.e., Family Tree, i.e., Ancestry, i.e., Name)

As His descendants, we have been given the genealogy, integrity, and authority of the Spirit of Jesus, the Son of God. With "God" as our surname, the echo of His Infinite Life/Spirit reverberates through every generation. He is the Creator of our species. We are the "Children of the Prince of Israel, the Exalted Son of God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, our Everlasting Father." This is why God loves us.

We are not orphans. We are not alone. We have been designed to be the evidence of our value to God, our family, and our world as we conquer the sufferings of tribulation. Every breath we take is where the challenge of our co-creation with God, our Father, is ever present. Now, hand in hand with Him, we can return to our Holy and Divine Inheritance as we overcome evil with Good. This is the dawn of a new day that the Lord has made ! Let us rejoice and be glad in it !

God desperately wants to reveal His love to us all. We are vitally important to His plan that, once again, gloriously illuminates this Earth with His radiant presence. This is why He wants us to change our minds and shape our worth to Him and nothing else. ( shape our worth to, = worth shape, = worship ) By knowing that God believes in us and has trusted us with His Life and purpose, we can live in peace, without fear, as the darkness around us gives way to God’s Light that is born from within us.

"Human and Divine" Part 5

(If you are still with me, by now, you may be asking; "just what is a heretic?" It is someone who chooses to question, think, and espouse that which is contrary to popular belief. One who knows, by experience, that if you ask, you will receive. If you seek, you will find. If you knock, it will be opened to you.)

Guilt is the uniquely human emotion that we feel when we do not honor our Father by living up to our Divine Heritage. Adam had been robbed of his birthright. His persuasion to believe a lie and live in self-pity, independently from God, lowered his Divine perception of himself, to the self preservation instincts of the animals, as he launched centuries of feeble attempts to camouflage his nakedness and embarrassment with the fig leaves of self-centered efforts.

This did not change the fact that Adam, though targeted for deception, was still God’s Divine Creation; His child, who could take the compassionate hand of his forgiving Father and step up again to walk with Him, laying aside the burden of shame and guilt that comes from self-pity and the denial of his Holy Heritage.

God used my own children to display and confirm this fact. If one of my boys fell down, was disobedient or defiant, he did not cease to be my son, but he would ignite in me an intense focus of unconditional restoration and sacrificial Love. I would correct and comfort where I could and if necessary, I would take his hand and become a sacrifice for him.

Do you see it? No matter what, I will always be my son’s father. I am also, forever, my father’s son. Our Life/Spirit came from the same Source. I am to correct, comfort, and sacrifice myself on behalf of my sons. As a compassionate father, as an honorable son, and with a pure spirit, I am to be my son’s visible likeness of God. But, oh, the price of being governed by my physical senses. How I had missed the mark as a father, as I continued to be thwarted by seeds of deception and the darkness of my own history and isolation; by fears; by unrealized plans, and ambitions; by a belief system of inferiority that just did not work. Is there a chance for a new beginning? Can I keep from handing down to my children the infectious symptoms of my sin?

As a child, I learned how to become an atheist in church. It was there that I experienced the abuse and terrors of religion instead of the compassionate Love of God.

I was told:
that I was bad inside,
I thought that I was good;
that my heart was black,
I envisioned it white;
that I was destined for Hell,
I did not want to go there;
that I must believe in a god that killed you if you did not like him,
I did not want a god like that.

I felt like I was constantly being dangled by my feet over Hell’s blazing inferno. I was trapped in the black and white revolving door of ‘good and evil’.

Alas, I had eaten of that tree. I, too, had been robbed and my creativity stifled. My mind had become a haven for the ‘doctrine of inferiority’ and the ‘paranoia of damnation’.

I quickly became oblivious to everything but myself, my shame, and my own failures. The consciousness of my inherent goodness was concealed by the attitudes and beliefs of those who surrounded me.

In my desperation I cried out, "What is this thing called Love? Is there a genuine God I can know, one that is really Good?"

Then, just as a grain of wheat falls into the ground and is covered by the soil, enabling the power and purpose of its resurrection to be revealed, so the Seed of God’s Truth germinated anew within me, from beneath the oppressive layers of guilt, offense, fear, and deception.

Eventually, as the Seed grew, I learned to say "thank you" to the dirt.

"Human and Divine" Part 4

CAUTION - This may be hazardous to your belief system as we begin to see and practice the privilege of intercession.

The Life/Spirits ability to forgive is above nature (supernatural). Its potency lives in the Life/Spirit that has been invested in us. As Humans, we are the only earthly organisms that are honored to participate with God in granting and receiving Forgiveness. We are the creatures that need it, for we are the only ones who are targeted to be duped into living outside of our Creators purpose. By our choice, Forgiveness is given and received intentionally, through the Soul and its healing effects are experienced, in peaceful freedom, by the Body, Soul, and Spirit. Now the all consuming and lethal infections of guilt, revenge, and resentment are gone.

We can choose to change the course of our own history. We can choose to be Holy and respond to our offenses with our Father, or react to them by ourselves.

With God, we can learn to absorb evil without causing more evil. We are to stop the generational recycling of darkness by being Gods Presence right where we are. In Gods Light we discover that there is no "kingdom of darkness". With our Father, we can dismantle the gates and horrors of Hell by healing the mutations of the Soul and the virus of sin.

To insure that this is accomplished, God holds the title deed to His Infinite Life/Spirit that He has entrusted to Humans. Therefore, this vapor of the Eternal Life/Spirit, whether in or out of the temporal body, is Sacred and cannot be destroyed. Humanity, with its Eternal Life/Spirit, could not have been redeemed if it were not originally Holy, and permanently owned by the One who paid its ransom. This is why Man is to recognize and remember that the Infinite Life/Spirit, that has been breathed into all of Humanity by the Creator, comes from and returns to, Gods domain. With this distinction, Mankind can choose to be healed as he is elevated and aligned to his original position as Gods interdependent co-creator of restoration.

Yes, even when the Eternal Life/Spirit leaves its human earthen vessel, regardless of condition, it immediately returns to God because it is underwritten by the eternal sacrifice of compassionate intercession. What a great guarantee ! Oh, what a genuine relief it is ! ! What a magnificent purpose, as we reclaim and illuminate the "Way of the Lord".

Is it any wonder that the self indulgent agents of the "prince of darkness" continue to distract us from the discovery of our Divine Heritage and true identity?

All other life forms, also, come from God. However, for its purpose, this life does not have to be redeemed, for it is vested in each species "according to its kind" and lives independently from God and Man, receiving its sustenance and habitat from within the provided ecosystems of the earth.

I found that I could no longer believe the lie that insisted that I was only human, but not Divine, though my ideomotor reactions continued to corroborate this self conscious deceit. We have no doubt that we are Human. However, we will discover that we, like our Father, are also Divine.

We are all inspired, breathed into, by God. Our Sacred Eternal Life/Spirit comes from, belongs to, and returns to God, and is now living right in the middle of Infinity, clothed with a fragile temporary body designed and created by God. This was the God conscious realization that destroyed my ability to deny my place in the Divine Incarnation of Spirit, Soul, and Body. I, and all other Human Beings, are made 100% of 24 karat God.

If we are confident of the Divinity of our creator, Jesus Christ, should we not also believe in the Divinity of His Own Likeness?

"Human and Divine" Part 3

I began my interrogation in Genesis. In the Creation Account the Hebrew word for God is in the
plural form. (Elohim) I read that ‘In the beginning God, i.e. the “Prince of Israel”, i.e. the
Exalted One ruling with God His Father, co-created the heavens which included the Earth.’

In this, I see, “The Trilogy of Jesus in Creation”- The Administration; A Father and Son united
in the essence of God’s Holy and Infinite Life/Spirit co-creating a harmonious and orderly
system, in order to fulfill God’s purpose.

The Human species was created “in God’s own Image and likeness”, i.e., to function in and with
the unity, character, and authority of God’s Holy and Infinite Life/Spirit as One, in mutual Glory
and description. Humanity to represent God on the earth and God to represent Humanity in
Heaven.

Now I can see, “The Trilogy of Jesus on Earth”- The Management; God and Mankind united in
God’s Holy and Eternal Life/Spirit in a rebirth to preserve the splendor and communion of
original creation as we conform to our Father’s design and purpose.

The responsibility, as earth’s stewards, now rests on, “The Trilogy of Jesus in Us”- The
Operations; Male and Female, as devoted children, united in God’s Holy and Eternal Life/Spirit;
living in His Earthly Body; authorized to perpetuate the custody and protection of Sacred Human
Life and all of it’s environment.

God’s Infinite and Holy Life Breath was breathed into Man’s nostrils and Man became a Living
Eternal Spirit residing in a mortal body. Who, in communion with God, has the power to
vanquish the forces of adversity and to generate light where once there was only the barren
darkness. Even the power of a once mighty angel can be reduced to nothing by the fire of
compassion and voluntary service of one small, unique, individual portion of God’s
interdependent Life. One of the least of these, my brethren.

If we were only created, as Earthlings, to keep God company and to get us from Earth to Heaven,
it would not have been necessary for us to be created at all, for we came from Heaven in the first
place. We are born from above. That is why a religion that touts “Love God, Be Nice, or Be
Damned” seems grossly inadequate, for God will not afflict His own creation !!! He does not
kill or abuse His children !!! He does not cause us to suffer !!!

So, why on earth, are we here?

We are ‘God Seeds’ that He has sown in the Earth. We are here to get His Glory back. We
have a job to do, a breach to repair, a sacrifice to make, a resurrection to display, a restoration to
complete. We are not here as spectators or to be comfortable. We are here as interactive
partners with our Creator, to restore the Glory of His Presence to an earth who’s beauty and
purpose had been destroyed by rebellion and was lying in waste without form and void. A cold,
dark, prison without God. A place of quarantine precipitated by the insurrection of Lucifer, Son
of the Morning, and his ancillary host.

As the new, duly authorized, keepers of Earth’s Sacred Balance, we have become the target of
this revengeful angel. Mankind’s quest and commission is to replenish the earth by allowing
God’s Holy and Eternal Life/Spirit, His Seed, to be born of the flesh and to nurture and magnify
the brilliance of this Holy and Eternal Life/Spirit in preparation for our Father’s revelation and
triumphant return.

This is to be done in spite of the unrelenting opposition of this master of tribulation, our now
homeless adversary. Though his time is short, the casualties are great as, in his violent anger, he
unceasingly sows, in the recesses of our souls, the tares of deceit and destruction as he escalates
the use of his infinite arsenal of inflammatory offenses.

As ‘Good Seed’, we can choose to be victorious over comers with God in this challenging
warfare by breaking up our fallow ground with the ploughshares of Forgiveness and
Thanksgiving. With disarming meekness, we are able to vanquish the deceiver’s onslaught of
offenses while attaining and maintaining spiritual fitness and maturity. The Power and Glory of
Forgiveness destroys evil, eliminates darkness, heals creation, and keeps our Spirit Holy. It is
the distinguishing mark that exhibits Peace in the person that has inherited the Earth after having
been tutored by God. (Forgive = To set free and remove from danger by paying the debt
incurred by someone else, when they are not able to, or, are not willing to, pay it themselves.
Releasing them of all obligation, restoring them to a position of never having owed, apologizing
for them and speaking favorably of them in intercession, i.e., knitting them together with their
Father.)

It is one thing to believe in and hope for peace, healing, and the repair of unity. It is quite
another to become a voluntary part of the restoration process.

"Human and Divine" Part 2

Personally experiencing the personality of Jesus Christ and sitting at His feet as He teaches, is an
ongoing and exciting conversion. It is more than just periodically opening the crypt, where the
cultic relics of our religions past and present are stored, to dust off and inventory the dry bones
of our pet doctrines and beliefs. The more we can allow ourselves to experience the “Trilogy of
Jesus” as the Light of the World, the more we can clearly see, to illuminate our world, as
children of Light. With restored vision we can behold more than just a hint of who He is as we
stand amazed in His presence.

Dr. Albert Schweitzer, in his book The Quest of the Historical Jesus, says this; “He comes to us
as One unknown, without a name, as of old, by the lake-side, He came to those men who knew
Him not. He speaks to us the same word: ‘Follow thou me!’ and sets us to the tasks which He
has to fulfill for our time. He commands. And to those who obey Him, whether they be wise or
simple, He will reveal Himself in the toils, the conflicts, the sufferings which they shall pass
through in His fellowship, and, as an ineffable mystery, they shall learn in their own experience
Who He is.”

A faith that will not question God, cannot grow. “Ask, and you will receive. Seek and you will
find. Knock and it will be opened unto you.”

Let me share with you the foundation and experience of my very own, personal encounter
theology, i.e. “my own oil of faith, seeking the flame of God’s understanding.” This is not
my theology to teach, but to live. In matters of Forgiveness and Love, we must all be tutored by
God Himself, lest our attempts to teach be diluted by the predispositions and intolerance of our
legalistic ego and personal bias. Therefore, the view of God and His Grace, from where I stand,
is uniquely my own.

Jesus said, “Follow Me and I will make you Fishers of Men.” Those who heard Him were
commercial fisherman. Their work involved taking fish from the water, where they were of
little worth, and placing them in the market place where their worth was greatly increased.
Thus, these fisherman understood that Jesus had said, “Follow Me and I will show you how to
reveal the worth of all mankind.”

As I sought the revelation of my own worth, I discovered the worth of us all.

"Human and Divine" Part 1

“The Human Body contains the Divine Spirit.”

“I cannot deny the fact that I am breathing the Breath of Life. I cannot disown the
corporate Origin of that Life. As a living being, I am the continuous proof that my Father
exists, no matter what I believe to the contrary. I am a Child of God. As God is Good
(Complete), so I am, with Him.” Read Acts 17:22-33, “TO THE UNKNOWN GOD.”

To me, a lot of our corporate acts of religious expression seem much like the chaotic dissonance
produced by a symphony orchestra just prior to a performance. It sounds as though the
direction, discipline, and interpretation of it’s Maestro has been completely ignored; each
member playing a different score and tempo on untuned instruments.

Scripture has been translated into many languages, but it’s meaning and intelligence remains
with the interpretation of God, our Composer and Maestro.

Literacy is not prerequisite to the personal revelation of, or communion with, our Creator. The
reading or hearing of scripture and it’s exposition, without personally asking the Author to
reveal the meaning and intelligence of His language, is simply an exercise fraught with the
limitations of our own understanding and experiences, hence, our discord, misunderstanding,
and barrenness.

The Spirit of Truth that is within us, is the magnet that draws us to the completeness of God’s
exegesis. The existence and revelation of this permanent and unchangeable Gift of Truth is not
determined, altered, or impaired by doctrine, theory, or belief. As we are guided into the
perfection of All Truth, we discover that Truth does not have to be believed to make it valid. It
needs no defense, argument, or proof. When we give birth to God’s Light, the dark and
incomplete distortion of error cannot exist. We have not genuinely been freed from our disbelief
until we are so convinced of Truth’s reality, that we no longer are compelled to prove it.

God summons us in our own language but instructs and conducts us in His. Many are called, but
few have chosen to seek and yield to His understanding. Unfortunately, we prefer our own.

Most of our theologies, whether borrowed or experienced, have been received from and taught
by man. They are mirror images of our “Selfology of Inferiority” (i.e. Doctrine that causes us to
see ourselves dimly in the darkness that surrounds us, instead of by the Radiant Light that is
eager to shine forth from within us.) and, as such, can suffer some necessary tuning now and
then. With His baton in hand, our Lord is ready to set the key and replace the old perceptions
with a new encounter, if we are willing to release Him from the well guarded confines of our
own understanding and interpretation. A renewed mind, filled with His compassion, will
transform our attitude, behavior, and purpose while synchronizing us all to the standard of pitch
necessary for a flawless performance.

First Things First

Authors Note:

At some point on our path to maturity we tend to be blind to all Truth and regard it as heresy. If this were not so, we would not recognize or pursue our continuing thirst for Peace.

A revelation is to awaken or become aware of that which is already there.

The revelation and energy of the personality of Jesus Christ is not in the words we write or in the interpretation and revelation of scripture. It is recognized in the progressively visible demonstration and potency of the compassionate healing power, inherent in HIS Life, that WE Live. The reuniting and restoration of the Spirit within, allows us to exhibit more and more of His glory as we learn how to respond, with compassion, to the senses of the Spirit.

Let us realize that what we write today, as we mature in Him, may be upgraded in His infinite wisdom, by tomorrow.

The greatest bondage in Christendom is what we think we know about God. If we are not free from the idolatry of superstition, tradition, doctrine, and yes, even from the pride of our own revelations, so that God can perform His purpose through us, then what we believe about God matters little.

As God develops our view into the various facets of the "Diamond of Truth," from different perspectives, we begin to see its inner brilliance burst forth exponentially, through the many polished aspects of its spontaneous design.

If we, by lack of vision or by separation, see dimly and presume only one facet as the whole, we miss the pulsating fire of the complete and perfect jewel. Therefore, to gain God’s understanding, we must dare to abandon ourselves to Him, as we allow Him to change us from within. This can be hazardous to a stagnant belief system.

This maturing Spirit of Truth is the magnet that draws us to the completeness of God’s exegesis. It is not subject to, altered, or impaired by doctrine, theory, or belief. When we have finally been convinced of Truth’s reality, we no longer are compelled to prove it.

This article, and those to follow, may be freely used, reproduced, distributed, or ignored in total and without charge, as long as the title and content remain unchanged. This is but a few of the treasures that I have found, and it represents a specific period of time in the development of my portion of Spirit perception. These words are not written as doctrine or as something that you must believe. I simply share them with you, as would a guide on our journey to the Ultimate Restoration of ALL things, enabling you to explore and be uplifted by the magnificence and grandeur of Omnipotent Creation.

These facets of the Diamond of Truth, as it applies to the continuing maturity of the Spirit within me, are an intrinsic revelation to, and inherent in, my nature and experience as one of God’s Unique Creations. Therefore, they are not to be rewritten, purchased or sold.
